Rama Atiya is a technology strategist and governance leader with experience spanning higher education and healthcare. She specializes in bridging innovation and execution—helping organizations translate strategy into practical operating models that improve transparency, decision‑making, and delivery in complex, mission‑driven environments.

With a career spanning senior technical and program leadership roles, Rama has led enterprise strategy and governance initiatives, partnering with senior leadership to define multiyear digital roadmaps, strengthen portfolio alignment, and improve decision-making across large, complex healthcare systems. Her experience spans cloud migration initiatives, enterprise web and application platforms, and IT governance and strategic investment planning. A seasoned leader of cross-functional teams, she brings equal fluency in Agile and waterfall environments, with a consistent track record of delivering operational excellence across the full program lifecycle.

Rama holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University and has completed executive education at MIT Sloan School of Management in Technology, Operations, and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, along with ITIL Foundation certification and multiple workflow, work management, and CRM certifications; she is currently completing executive education in Women in Leadership and AI Initiatives at the University of New Haven.

Throughout her career, Rama has been deeply committed to advancing women in technology and leadership. She has led enterprise employee resource groups, championed mentorship programs, and partnered with organizations such as Girls Who Code to expand pathways for women and girls in STEM. In her advisory role, she aims to support the University of New Haven in shaping impactful programs that empower women to lead confidently in an AI driven future—grounded in ethical innovation, technical fluency, and resilient leadership.
